In college, while pursuing her degree in elementary education, Susan Cole had a goal of writing a children’s book. Many years later, after encouragement from her daughters, this dream has become a reality.

Susan is a former middle school Reading/Language Arts teacher who has always loved books. Seeing students find the joy of reading and writing has been the highlight of her career as a teacher, school principal, and district administrator.

Susan lives in Texas with her husband, Kirk, two daughters, Ella and Mackinley, and their black lab named Buffy.
